"While I Breathe, I Hope." As a South Carolina native, our state's moto has always been near and dear to my heart. We live in the greatest state in the union and I am ready to serve you, the residents of District 93. One of my favorite Biblical verses is Ephesians 6:7, "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.” This verse speaks to my servant's heart, and tells me to serve with sincerity. It also teaches us that when we serve others, we are ultimately serving God. A true servant’s heart sees beyond the actual service and recognizes the significance of serving.
My Story
I was born in Greenville SC and moved to the Lowcountry when I was 5 years old. I am the only child to parents who have lived in South Carolina for most of their lives. I was raised in a middle class home with strong Christian values. Hard work and determination were always expected.
I first met my husband in grade school. Dan and I were married in June 1991. We have two beautiful daughters and two amazing grandsons. Dan and I own and operate a home repairs and property inspection company in Elloree, SC, where we also reside.
